About Our Journey
鹦鹉空间（2018年成立于上海）以自由流动的精神探索艺术与设计的多元可能，专注历史保护建筑及不同空间语境下的设计实践，关注城市更新与可持续发展。
2024年于香港设立艺术文化设计发展基金会，支持全球当代艺术家、设计师与策展人，围绕灵性探索、女性成长等议题推动展览与收藏体系建设，并通过公益项目拓展社会影响力。2025年在纽约设立首个海外联络处，开启国际艺术设计对话与交流合作。
The Parrot, established in Shanghai in 2018, explores the diverse possibilities of art and design with a spirit of free flow. It focuses on design practices in historic preservation buildings and various spatial contexts, while also addressing urban renewal and sustainable development.
In 2024, it founded an Art, Culture and Design Development Foundation in Hong Kong to support contemporary artists, designers, and curators worldwide. The foundation promotes exhibitions and collection systems around contemporary themes such as spiritual exploration and women's growth, and extends its social impact through cultural public welfare projects.
In 2025, it opened its first overseas liaison office in New York, initiating international dialogue and cooperative exchanges in art and design.
The Parrot 鹦鹉空间自2018年创立，深耕艺术与设计领域。早期曾设址于中国上海梧桐区余庆路的一栋独立老洋房内。秉承"灵感唤醒生活"的理念，融合当代艺术、收藏设计与科技等多维手法，在历史保护建筑和商业空间中打造众多创新展览，重新定义了艺术、设计与城市生活的共生关系。
The Parrot于外滩卜内门设立线下空间，举办多场青年艺术家主题展。2024年，在香港注册成立鹦鹉艺术文化设计发展基金会，作为非营利机构，致力于支持全球艺术、设计与策展人才，推动综合展览、收藏体系及文化公益项目，拓展艺术的社会影响力。
The Parrot鹦鹉空间于2024年推出「灵性的存在」系列展，以植物、光影与当代艺术为媒介，打造沉浸式自然叙事空间。项目旨在让艺术超越视觉，成为感知世界、回应内在精神与生活情绪的方式。
Founded in 2018, The Parrot is a leading art and design brand. The Parrot was originally located in a standalone historic villa on Yuqing Road in Shanghai's former French Concession, an area known for its plane tree-lined streets. Guided by "Inspiration Awakens Life," it blends contemporary art, design furniture, installations, botanicals, and technology to create innovative exhibitions in historic and commercial spaces, redefining the synergy between art, design, and city life.
The Parrot opened a physical space on the Bund, hosting exhibitions by young artists. In 2024, it founded the Parrot Art, Culture & Design Development Foundation in Hong Kong, a nonprofit supporting global artists, designers, and curators through exhibitions, collections, and public welfare projects to expand art's social impact.
In 2024, The Parrot launched the "Spiritual Presence" series, an immersive nature narrative space blending plants, light, and contemporary art. The project invites art to go beyond sight — becoming a way to sense the world, connect with inner spirit, and echo life's emotions.

The Name
In Eastern narratives, the parrot is regarded as a "fire-extinguishing bird." Even with modest strength, it continues — persistently, and in its own way — to respond to the unfolding of the world.
东方叙事里，鹦鹉被视作"救火之鸟"。即使力量微小，也仍然持续不断地以自己的方式回应世界的发生。
In Western culture, it serves as a bridge between worlds — crossing boundaries to connect diverse civilizations, and making mutual understanding possible between different voices.
在西方文化中，它更像一只"语言之鸟"，跨越边界，在不同文明与声音之间建立起可以被理解的连接。
Journey of The Parrot
从余庆路老洋房到外滩历史建筑，再到去中心化的项目制实践 — 每一次迁徙，都是艺术与城市关系的重新定义。From a historic villa to the Bund, and beyond fixed spaces.
The Parrot 创立于上海梧桐区一栋独立老洋房内。秉承"灵感唤醒生活"的理念，融合当代艺术、收藏设计与科技等多维手法，在历史保护建筑和商业空间中打造众多创新展览。
空间迁至外滩历史建筑卜内门洋行二层，展厅近 500 平方米，毗邻 Perrotin、里森画廊与外滩美术馆。一年多时间里吸引超过 59,000 人次观众，与数十位艺术家、策展人及文化机构合作。
从实体画廊运营转向非营利艺术基金模式。主动撤出固定展览空间，以去中心化的项目制方式重新定义机构实践 — 在上海先后与苏河皓司、光二仓库、柏悦酒店等不同历史与功能属性的场地合作，使展览成为嵌入城市建筑谱系的文化事件。
在纽约设立首个海外联络处，开启国际艺术设计对话与交流合作。「灵性的存在」女性主题双年展持续推动跨媒介、跨语境的创新实践，从上海走向世界。
The Existence of Spirituality
「灵性的存在」是 The Parrot 自 2024 年推出的女性主题展览系列，以植物、光影与当代艺术为媒介，构建沉浸式的自然叙事空间。
它不仅是空间美学实验，也体现 The Parrot 持续推动艺术公共化、自然教育与社会情感连接的研究方向 — 以温和而开放的方式，将当代艺术转化为公众可进入、可体验、可共鸣的文化现场。
The Existence of Spirituality is The Parrot's women-themed biennial series — an immersive natural narrative woven from plants, light and shadow, and contemporary art.
Philanthropy & Partnerships
以艺术家的思想谱系与展览叙事为锚点，将艺术机构的资源转化为公共文化资本，主动搭建艺术与多元社会群体之间的认知桥梁。
2025 年，ART NEWS 报道的颂艺术中心主办项目「她的房间」于 ART021 上海当代艺术博览会呈现。The Parrot 出席并参与其女性力量艺术论坛，与女性创作者们同场对话 — 支持女性创作者，是 The Parrot 持续不变的 commitment。
In 2025, "Her Room", presented by Soul Art Center and reported by ART NEWS, took place at ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair. The Parrot attended and joined its Women's Power Art Forum — standing with, and supporting, women creators.
于苏州诚品书店启幕，作为叶帆个展《迷楼：镜中亻》的公益板块，汇聚血液病儿童与艺术工作坊参与者的创作，描绘他们对未来世界的理解与想象。
以「Seeds for Tomorrow」为主题，于上海宛平剧场见证青年思想的破土与绽放。创始人俞征 Iris Yu 受邀出席 Speaker Dinner 并作为开场嘉宾致辞：艺术、设计与科学 — 你们是未来的种子。
The Parrot 委任艺术家叶帆，在其斯沃琪和平饭店艺术中心驻地期间共同创作 — 回收疫情期间的葡萄酒瓶，以有色亚克力浇铸封存，封存的不仅是物本身，更是物背后情感的瞬间。
西岸艺术与设计博览会期间的藏家酒会，与藏家、艺术家及艺术界友人相聚，延续 The Parrot 的收藏与对话网络。
从 2024 年卜内门洋行「似水流年」上海首展，到 2026 年 DG ART SPACE 水墨艺术展与东钱湖畔的文化名家对谈 — 李欧梵、陈冠中、麦家、毛尖等两岸三地名家相聚宁波柏悦。
烛光与颂钵之夜 — 在城市夜景环绕的 loft 空间中，以自然音声引导参与者进入深度放松与内在觉察。
创始人 Iris 与艺术家倪志琪、艺术评论人徐薇展开对谈，围绕创作、收藏与当代艺术生态展开讨论。
连接美术馆、拍卖行、品牌、明星及公众群体的艺术晚宴 — 形成兼具艺术展示、社交传播与文化协作功能的复合型平台。
Urban Renewal
"保护不是静止保存，而是当代激活。" 在尊重原有建筑肌理、历史气质与生活痕迹的基础上，加入当代艺术、设计语言与公共体验，让老建筑重新进入今天的城市生活。
